Maintenance  

   Our maintenance program normally includes twice monthly service, three day fish guarantee, delivery of foods and routine maintenance of equipment usually at no additional charge.

   Twice monthly visits include the following tasks:

  •    Water changes

  •    Hydro cleaning gravel

  •    Cleaning corals and decorations

  •    Cleaning viewing surface inside and outside

  •    Water quality testing

  •    Check equipment

  •    Replacement of minor equipment as required

  •    Major repairs will be made with 24 hr.

   Aquarium Service offers two programs:

   ITEMIZED:  Monthly service fee includes the service only.  Food, fish, medication, saltmix, equipment and drygoods are itemized on your monthly invoice and sold separately.

   ALL INCLUSIVE:  Your monthly invoice includes saltmix, food, fish but not replacement pumps,  light bulbs or drygoods.  All inclusive programs are slightly higher per month than the itemized program and reflects a future investment in your aquarium.

   Support Equipment:  Aquarium Service was a leader in introducing innovative high-tech products such as wet/dry filters, protein skimmers, UV sterilizers and nutritious foods to Northwest aquariums and continues to be on the cutting edge of technology while its competitors strive to 'keep up'.  As a result, you can be assured that your aquatic environment will be clean and disease free as possible and your fish will enjoy long and healthy lives.

   Invoicing:  Invoices are sent out on the 1st of the month for service received for that month.  Drygoods and foods delivered the previous month are billed on the next invoice.  Terms of payment is 20 days. Some long term customers elect to prepay for a years service in advance and for that we offer a 10% discount off the service charge only.  Personal or company checks are accepted and preferred.  We ask that you do not make payment to your service technician as this causes delays in applying your payment.  We also ask that you do not offer gratuities to your technician.

   SALES, LEASING AND RENTAL SYSTEMS

Aquarium Service offers four programs to help you get started on your adventure.

   Sales:  Purchase your aquarium, filter, decor, support equipment and furniture directly from us at a cost lower than retail stores can offer you.  We invite you to compare.

   Lease:  The same as a purchase only you can finance the system with 36 monthly payments then you own it.  This option is available only with a 36 month maintenance contract.  You have the option of paying off the balance at any time and we offer a very competitive interest rate. Leased aquarium systems require one third downpayment with financing on the remaining two thirds over a three year period.

   Rental:  Rental aquariums are usually new systems and requires a two year contract. Used rental equipment may be available at a discounted price.  The monthly service fee includes fish, flake food and total maintenance and replacement of equipment in the event of failure.  There is a small fee for installation and removal of the system.

   Living  Furniture:  This program is designed for freshwater systems only.  It is a  rental program for small offices or lobbies.  It is inexpensive and includes a change in decor usually every six months and of course fish, food and medications are all included. You pay only the monthly service fee plus a small fee for installation and removal.  A two year contract is required.
